What you can expect: Our Langley litigation group is currently seeking a forward thinking and results-driven Associate with interest and relevant experience within general litigation, specifically in the areas of commercial litigation. The successful candidate will benefit from all of the firm’s resources, from in-house marketing to a top-notch team of legal support professionals. In addition to working on files directly with Partners who take an active role in mentoring and training lawyers, the Associate will be provided the opportunity to manage their own files and will be provided with the resources to develop their own practice. Additional required experience: · LLB/J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia; · 4-7 years of litigation experience, ideally in commercial litigation; · Strong research, drafting and advocacy skills; · Experience advising clients with respect to litigation and disputes; · Confident at engaging and interacting with clients; · Exceptional work ethic; · Client service oriented and team player; and · Excellent attention to detail. Compensation: While compensation is commensurate with experience, the base annual salary range for candidates with the required experience is expected to be $140,000 - $170,000.
