Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to work in our Montreal Office. This full-time permanent legal assistant role will provide support to lawyers in our Employment & Labour Law practice. This position will play a key role in handling administrative items. We are seeking a highly organized professional individual with excellent client service skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, high performance culture. You will be focussing on: * Transcribe/modify correspondence, agreements, contracts, proceedings, reports and other dictated or handwritten material * Perform administrative duties related to the position, including time charges, expense reports and billing * Assume responsibility for the agenda and ensure follow-up * Maintain filing up to date, including file indexing * Make photocopies, transmit faxes, digitalize documents and perform any other duties requested Skills and Experience Required * Minimum of 1- 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in Employment & Labour Law * Excellent knowledge of French and English grammar * Good knowledge of Outlook * Excellent knowledge of Word, including its advanced features * Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel * Meticulous and detail-oriented * Organized and able to manage priorities * Team player, versatile and able to work under pressure * Autonomous, proactive and able to work quickly * Bilinguism Norton Rose Fulbright is a large international legal practice with multiple offices around the world.
