About the Opportunity A Vancouver practice with a significant Indigenous law group is seeking a lawyer to advise First Nations clients on governance, treaty, and related matters. Key Responsibilities Advise First Nations governments and organizations on legal matters, including governance and treaty issues Support negotiations with government and industry stakeholders Draft agreements, policies, and legal opinions for Indigenous community clients Build and maintain long-term relationships with First Nations clients Collaborate with colleagues across related practice areas (lands, resources, litigation) Qualifications Called to the Bar in British Columbia, in good standing 5+ years of experience in Indigenous law or a closely related field Genuine interest in and sensitivity to working with Indigenous communities Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills Willingness to travel to community meetings as required How to Apply Submit your resume in confidence for consideration.
