LEGAL ASSISTANT – COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our real estate practice. The successful candidate will assist with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing matters. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and revise agreements of purchase and sale, leases, and closing documents; Manage transaction files from opening to closing, including due diligence and document organization; Coordinate title and off-title searches and review search results; Prepare closing documents and assist with closing processes; Liaise with clients, lenders, and third parties; Manage calendars, deadlines, and correspondence; General administrative duties including scanning and e-filing; and Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Legal Assistant/Law Clerk diploma/certificate; 5+ years' experience working in a commercial real estate practice within a law firm or in professional services; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook); Working knowledge of Adobe/Kofax PDF, DocuSign, Workshare Compare, and Teraview; Experience working with a document management system, e.g., iManage; Possess strong organizational and time management skills in order to manage multiple priorities with ease in order to meet tight deadlines; Operate with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail; Strong communication and interpersonal skills help you to build relationships and provide excellent client service; As a confident self-starter, you work well both independently, and in a team environment; and Show good judgment, discretion and respond well to constructive feedback. Compensation $65,000 - $75,000. This range represents the anticipated base compensation for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
