Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and confident junior to mid-level Labour & Employment Associate to join their esteemed Calgary team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a vibrant practice while collaborating with some of the industry's leading professionals. Qualifications and Attributes: 2-5 (2025 - 2021) years of post-call experience in labour and employment law from a reputable national, regional, or boutique firm. Experience advising and representing employers on various employment and labour law matters, including corporate transactions and reorganizations. Experience with labour arbitrations and/or administrative tribunals is an asset. Proficient in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, with knowledge of executive compensation, workers’ compensation, pay equity, and employment equity. Familiarity with occupational health and safety prosecutions, human rights issues, employment standards, privacy matters, terminations, layoffs, and workplace investigations. Strong communication and drafting skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Above average academics Qualified to practice law in Canada.
