About the role
Estates Law Clerk Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (On-site) Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
GGFI Law is seeking an Estates Law Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Estates Department and its lawyers by preparing legal documents, managing files, and ensuring smooth processes for our clients. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will: Prepare Applications for Certificates of Appointment (with or without a Will); Complete Estate Information Returns; Draft and review estate, trust, guardian, and attorney accounts; Liquidate share assets; Complete reporting letters and other necessary correspondence; Assist in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney; Handle digital file organization, scanning, and administrative tasks; Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills: Prepare Applications for Certificates of Appointment (with or without a Will); Complete Estate Information Returns; Draft and review estate, trust, guardian, and attorney accounts; Liquidate share assets; Complete reporting letters and other necessary correspondence; Assist in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney; Handle digital file organization, scanning, and administrative tasks; Perform other related duties as required.
